Cardboard Kingdom is a whimsical, otherworldly exhibit by Jennifer Latham Robinson, a Durham multimedia artist and disability advocate whose work explores transformation, myth, and the magic of difference. With more than 20 pieces on display, including dolls, sculptures, and fantastical forms made from discarded materials like cardboard, this collection invites you to reimagine what is possible.
Jennifer’s art blurs the line between the familiar and the surreal. Each piece offers a glimpse into a universe where difference is celebrated and becoming is the most natural state of all. Her work is playful, tender, and filled with intention. It honors imagination, resilience, and the beauty found in unexpected places.
Opening night will feature live music, snacks, and both spirited and non-spirited beverages for you to enjoy while exploring the artwork. Whether you are an art lover, a dreamer, or simply curious, Cardboard Kingdom welcomes you.
