Roy Guerrette graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 1997 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics. He worked as a graphic artist for ten years while continuing his craft as a studio assistant with Portland Pottery Studio. Originally from the state of Maine, he relocated to Durham, North Carolina to begin his second career as a community health nurse in 2013.

Roy joined the Durham Arts Guild and takes classes at Durham Arts Council to expand upon his clay and glass work and envelope himself in the creative energies woven into the fabric of Durham, NC. He enjoys creating, teaching, and the comradery of a community-based studio where multiple forms of art creation are represented and explored.

Samm Quiser, Resin Artist

Samm Quiser is an NC based resin artist with over 6 years of experience. She began her art education learning stone carving, among a litany of other mediums, at the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center in West Rutland Vermont before she relocated to the triangle area of NC mid 2016. Since her relocation, she has created her personal brand of Radioactive Resin Art by selling her unique home decor and jewelry items at local markets.

In addition to being one of the Co-Owners at Fusion Gallery and classes, She works full time as a data analyst with an insurance company and teaching resin classes at the gallery. She enjoys assisting other artists with unique resin projects and creating meaningful commissions.
